Part of the Cinema Krew, Me and Sam with special guests Eric and Luke went to see Avatar 3D in Cineworld yesterday, Friday 18th December (day after release). The day began with my fixing one of Sam’s many viruses on his computer. As he uses Norton, his PC is prone to everything as Norton is rubbish (learn a lesson kiddies). After trying some stuff, I decided it was time to go. We went out of Sam’s house but disaster struck, Sam had locked his keys (and wallet) inside, what a fool. Sam had to ring his granddad to bring him a spare key to get in. After all this, we finally got into town..
We met Luke in Cineworld, where like a bunch of idiots, Sam, Luke and Eric all bought the wrong ticket to the wrong show. After fixing our error, we went to the Apple store for a bit, ate some Greggs and then went to view the movie. Avatar in 3D was pretty awesome. The film had action, romance and sad scenes, which is everything you want from a film. You could see how much money was spent on the film, the special effects and CGI were amazing to say the least. The 3D effects were very satisfying and were used throughout. If we had to see the film again in 2D, it wouldn’t be the same atall.
The only down point of the whole film in my opinion was the length. 3 hours (3 1/2 with adverts) is an extreme time to be watching a film. But this cannot knock the film’s brilliant storyline, characters and overall enjoyableness. In conclusion the film was brilliant, the characters were great and the battles were epic. Overall, I give the film Avatar (in 3D) a rating of 9/10.
Welcome to my blog. It's the place to be for posts about Dubstep, my life and also my romantic song writing - they do call me Romeo after all!
Excellent. I have been awaiting this review.
