My brother and sister were watching this CBBC program about an Indian who lives on a planet that is filled with curry and is going to explode if they don’t releive the curry pressure from the core of the planet. Now, is it me, or does this sound slightly racist? I don’t want to moan, but I know it’s probably for a laugh, but usually Indians don’t want to be labelled with “curry” – They find it offensive. So I’m thinking what the hell is the program upto..

Last night (13/01/10) on Channel 4 (UK) Slumdog Millionaire made it’s debut appearence on national television. I was interested in the film after hearing about the amount of nominations it had received at various film award ceremonies. The film in all fairness was very cleverly made, the storyline is sad, happy, action packed and overall really enjoyable. I thought the whole concept of “Who wants to be a Millionaire?” was very smart and the way the time switched back and forth to how Jamal had come to know of the questions’ answers was innovative. I also liked the way the actors that were used (being Indian) weren’t well known. This has shown me that even non big-time actors can act extremely well.
Overall, I give the film Slumdog Millionaire a rating of 10/10.

Solid relationships, extinct at last?
It would seem true love is a thing of the past.
Jealousy, pain, what does it take?
You wouldn’t know love, for goodness sake.
A girl, a friend, a future wife?
Relationships come and go but friends are for life.

I laugh at the people who are always saying “New year, new leaf”. I just want people like them to shut the hell up. You guys say the same thing every year, and you know what? You don’t turn over a new leaf. You keep acting like idiots. No new year, new leaf for me. You are tuned into the Tom Spiteri show people, enjoy the ride.

# Thoughts (v2)

Waves of thoughts trapped in the walls of my head
Some thoughts I cherish, some thoughts I dread
Brilliant ideas I have never thought of before
The mind seems to cease when I attempt to think of more
If I never had my thoughts then I simply wouldn’t be me
Thoughts are necassary, they allow me to truly see
The thought of certain people both present and past
I’ve always enjoyed my thoughts, I hope they’ll ever last
My thoughts are natural; they cannot be stopped
My thoughts are everlasting; they cannot be forgot
My thoughts are all mine; I will say if they are true
My thoughts are wonderful; they are thoughts of you.
