This morning, once again my whole home network went down. This had happened once before and it took me almost a day to fix the problems (which were with the BT Home Hub). This morning, I wake up to find my family going mad because the Home Hub wasn’t working again. I had to fix it, etc. So yeah, don’t use a Home Hub if you are with BT.

Apple have recently released their latest creation, the iPad. In this article you can find a few pictures and also information about the up and coming device from Apple. The slim black device resembles a larger version of Apple’s iPhone and features a 9.7in (24.6cm) display with a touchscreen Qwerty keyboard which appears on screen for typing emails.

Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) demonstrated the device live on stage, browsing YouTube, Google maps, its built-in iTunes store and even played Disney’s Pixar’s animated film Up (his favourite film). Powered by a 1GHz Apple A4 chip, the iPad weighs just 1.5lb (680g) but includes a speaker, microphone, accelerometer, compass, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and promises a 10-hour battery life.

In the US, you can get an iPad within the next 90 days for just $499 (lowest model). Apple should release the Apple iPad to the world (including the UK) by Sunday 28 March. Reports also suggest that the iPad may actually be reasonably priced in the UK, starting at (not official figures) £388 (lowest model) – not bad! Now, lets see what other tablets are released in the up-coming months.

Some music I listen to just makes me stop and think about life. This music can also sometimes make me feel in happy or emotional in ways. I really appreciate Artists and the time they spend creating these truly spectacular music tracks. Does anyone else receive these feelings or certain feelings from certain music tracks?

My theory on children having better reading and spelling skills is having a religion and practicing the religion. When at church, children are encouraged to read the bible, sing along and generally follow the mass. I think this aides children in learning to read and write much quicker. Just a thought..

The new versions of Windows Live Messenger are a real pain to remove. You may get lucky and be able to remove Windows Live Messenger with ease. But, if you are one of the many people (like me) that have trouble removing Windows Live Messenger (8.0 or above), then there is now an easier method to use, that will remove all traces of Windows Live Messenger!

After stumbling upon a program that could remove Windows Live Messenger, but wasn’t really user friendly, I decided to take on the task of making this tool easy to use for the end user. After a few hours of tweaking the program, creating an installer script and configuring a load of options, I am pleased to bring to you WLMremoval.

What is WLMremoval?

WLMremoval is a program designed to remove all Windows Live Messenger (WLM) related data and files from your PC. WLMremoval was built with user simplicity in mind and is extremely light weight (520kb in size). This means in turn that downloading the program literally takes a second to download and about 10 seconds to install.

How does it work?

WLMremoval is neatly packaged in an installer script. Within the installer script are the files that will remove all traces (including data and files) of Windows Live Messenger. The steps from downloading WLMremoval to using the program are extremely simple:

1. Download WLMremoval_setup.zip and then extract WLMremoval_setup.zip
2. In the extracted folder, run the program WLMremoval_setup.exe
3. Follow the simple on-screen steps to install the program
4. Once the program has installed, the program may auto-run. If not, look for the link in your start menu and run the program
5. A command prompt style window will appear, follow the on-screen instructions
6. Once complete, you may now uninstall WLMremoval

Is my Computer compatible?

WLMremoval is compatible with all versions of Windows, including Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista and also Windows 7. WLMremoval is NOT compatible with any versions of Apple Mac OS. There are no plans to port WLMremoval to any other operating systems.

Had an interesting discussion last night about the Government and how stupid things are getting, so here is the list of laws / things (whatever) I would immediately change;

1. All police would receive extensive firearm training.
2. Police would be equipped with a firearm to use if totally necessary.
3. The death sentence (lethal injection or by other means), would be brought back for severe offences.
4. The life sentence would be revived as “life” and not “12 years” as it is currently.

These points are just currently regarding a small area of the government. I plan to make a series of blog posts titled “Tom’s Government” on other things. I hope you have enjoyed this short article today. Thanks!
